Positive: The rooms were spacious, could fit an extra single bed and still had space. Had a balcony. Toilets were very clean. No complains. Breakfast had indian and English ( cereal, bread ) options. Friendly staffs. Some could speak in English.

Positive: Best place to stay in Kollam. Spacious, elegant rooms, attentive staff and wonderful vegetarian breakfast. Just a short distance from the city and right by the beach. Very convenient for eating at All Spice restaurant (one of the best in Kerala)!

Positive: Good location , Restaurant facility

Negative: No dust bin outside/ garden parking area. No designated smoking area so that visible cigarette buds in the garden area.

Positive: I loved everything about Prasanthi Hotel. The rooms and common area are well designed and stylish. The room itself was decorated very nicely. Comfortable bed. Clean towels and linen. The bathroom was very nice. Great water pressure. Nice shower. Really, the attention to detail was what made this one of my best stays while travelling India. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Not even a 5 min walk to the beach. The breakfast was superb. Everything was great down tige well maintained greenery around the property. The dinners were delicious. The wait staff were very friendly and quick to make suggestions and share the specials. I would’ve happily stayed longer had time permitted. 10s across the board.

Positive: The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. They were also very accommodating with holding my luggage for the day till I checked-in in the evening. The guards outside are very helpful.

Negative: The hotel should look at either having its own shuttle service to ferry guests to the railway station or have cab/auto services on call. I had to catch a train from Kollam early in the morning for which I struggled to find an auto. With packs of dogs running around, walking around 1.5 kms was a risky proposition. Thankfully, the guards managed to flag down an auto at around 05:30 pm. I also feel the staff, especially at the reception, needs to be a bit more welcoming. A smile goes a long way in making a stay memorable.
