Positive: Lovely garden with the River Nethy running at the bottom, very pretty. Fantastic location with bus stop at end of the road, frequent service into Aviemore and Boat of Garten.

Negative: We requested an early check in as check in was 4pm which we thought was quite late but were refused. When we paid the damage deposit , only then we’re we informed that there were building works going on next door and they couldn’t accept any responsibility. On arrival, we noticed the following; Dead wasps on floor in living room Dent in wall in double bedroom Broken leg on stand in living room Sofa torn and patched up Not enough black bags Not enough kitchen foil House tired looking in general Doors left open on arrival Items left in dishwasher on arrival (clean) Dirty pants in bunk bed room left by previous occupants No laundry bags available for dirty linen on departure- emailed and messaged to leave in bath instead No clothes horse in the drying room even though there’s a washing machine and tumble dryer Sugar and coffee containers in kitchen dry and engrained - not been washed out for quite a while The view in and out driveway was obscured by an overgrown hedge and made it difficult to see any oncoming traffic which made it quite dangerous. We found a ring in the hot tub which must have been left by a previous occupant and I immediately emailed the property agents, Dunpark Property Agents to let them know and try to reunite the ring with it’s owner, however on inspection of their terms and conditions, they state they cannot return any items left behind which is a real shame. For the price we paid, we expected a high end luxury stay, which it wasn’t. The customer service, although prompt and engaging, didn’t feel very accommodating. We were refused an early check in and check out was 9.30am. We had to ask ourselves, as there were many small issues as listed above, what cleaning did they do between 9.30am and 4pm? The property was up for sale when we arrived. On the plus side, it was a fantastic location, would definitely visit Nethy Bridge again although not in this property.

Summary: Fabulous location, great stay not a luxury stay.

Positive: Decent location, 20 minutes drive from Aviemore. The property is beautiful with the backyard connected to the river! The living room is big and cozy. There are more facilities than they mention on the listing, such as a washing machine and dryer. Place is massive and very clean!

Negative: Would appreciate better communication on trash handling during checkout. Would be nice if you improved the listing and actually listed all the facilities the place has, but that is always a nice surprise to find.

Summary: Fantastic property, great for families!
