Summary: This is a must see! The place is literally inside the forest with the most beautiful nature surrounding you. They have a pool that fills up with water from the purest waterfalls! The service is like no other... we felt like everything was personalized to us. We are amazed by everything and everyone at the Pousada Paraiso do Acu. Highly recommend!

Summary: Paradise ..... you wonder if you will ever get there as you drive for what seems forever along windy roads but its all worth it. The hotel is a little paradise next to the mountain, come here to relax and enjoy good food, wine and hospitality ..... slow down and enjoy .... the service is incredible and the people so hospitable.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying here. The setting was spectacular, and very removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food in the restaurant was great, which was lucky for us, because we didn't want to drive back into town to eat somewhere else. Some other reviews say it's impossible to find, but we had little to no trouble. You do have to pay attention though. You essentially just follow the road until you're forced to turn either left or right, at which time there will be a Pousada Paraiso Acu sign telling you where to go. I would NOT advise trying to arrive at night. That does sound difficult. Be aware that the hotel does have wifi, but it's not consistent. Also, we were unable to check out before 8am because that's when the front desk opens. This wasn't a huge inconvenience, but we did have to wait about 20 minutes for them to open. The staff spoke English and were very welcoming and nice.
