Positive: Transfer (extra $) organised by the hotel was excellent. Tours (extra $) are good value and a brilliant opportunity to see the area and wildlife. Pool area is nice. Food is really nice, varied, home-cooking style. Rooms have air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. Bed has a full mosquito net and is very comfortable. Bathrooms are basic but clean and functional. Staff are incredible and always available to help. Senior staff speak enough English, tour guides speak almost no English. We didn't opt for an English guide/translator (extra $) which worked out ok. Caipirinhas are brilliant and good value. Lots of wine and beer on site. Would recommend bringing some snacks with as if youre hungry in between meals there's nothing available... apart from cake. There's an animal sanctuary on site thats well worth a look around and also a naughty tapir who likes to visit at dinner. Would highly recommend the pirhana fishing would suggest doing this at sunset for the best views. You can do most things in about two full days. Over all its an amazing place!

Negative: Pool could be a bit better maintained, but it was never bad enough that we didn't want to use it. WiFi doesn't get as far as the standard lodges - which is both good and bad.

Positive: Even though it was low season it was magical. Birds and animals and beautiful scenery and such a nice owner and staff were all excellent!! Animal sanctuary on site which is amazing. All around great place to have visitors!!!

Positive: Brilliant location next to the beautiful Rio Mutum, with masses of wildlife in and around the lodge. The owner also rescues and rehabilitates orphans or injured creatures. We saw Giant otters and an Anteater, amongst others, near the lodge. Food and accomodation were good, if not first class.

Positive: Room always kept clean. Staff very friendly and helpful, even when having difficulty with language barrier. Excellent food and variety. Range of tours available excellent. Wonderful ethics helping injured animals.

Negative: Nothing but be aware of extra cost of tours and English speaking guide.
