Positive: Pousada Armenteira is a surprising and welcome break after long day on the Camino. The building was clearly designed by an architect with a lot of ambition. The building is designed with stark, clean lines using local marble slabs. We kept asking ourselves: why here and why this? But enjoyed it anyway. The room we had was great with super comfy beds, a little terrace/garden and a hidden bath tub under the shower. The hotel does not offer restaurant services (the O Comercio bar is your only option for dinner in town) but the breakfast buffet was great. We loved it

Negative: We expected a dinner restaurant for this class of hotel.

Positive: What a wonderful place to relax after a long walk on the Camino de Santiago. Beautiful pool to cool off in. Restaurant is right down the street with something for everyone on the menu. The customer service was outstanding. Breakfast in the morning had everything you would want. Excellent value. Right on the Camino trail.
