Summary: We had a much delayed flight, arriving to Iquitos after midnight, but Wilson was waiting there to pick us up! That was very much appreciated after the flight stress/troubles. He gave us a free (very short) ride to the hotel, where he said we didn’t have to do the checkin/payment until next day since we wanted to get sleep. The room was clean and spacious and the shower water was hot. We had a deep sleep. Next morning, breakfast was ready at the requested time and was tasty eggs and bread with fresh juice. Dining area was clean and homey. Checkin/Checkout with Wilson was seamless and quick! Thought we didn’t have much time to experience the hotel, it was a wonderful stay.

Summary: Breakfast was ok. The owner was very helpful in coordinating breakfast time. Paid extra for ac, this was not specified before but was 6 dollars a day. We have paid a lot less in Iquitos for a similar room with ac and hot water. Overall a good experience and very convenient to the airport.

Summary: I felt right at home at Poseidon House! I appreciated the ride from the airport tremendously, especially after dark. Thank you for an excellent stay with a comfortable bed! Also appreciated the ride arranged at my departure!

Summary: Wilson and his wife are kind and gracious hosts who truly care about their guests and their community. I needed to get cash from the ATM and Wilson didn’t hesitate to take me. They offer transport to and from the airport and offer laundry service for a fee. They accommodate an Ayuhuasca diet if you let them know in advance. This is my go-to hotel when I visit Iquitos! Highly recommend!

Summary: Well maintained property. Wonderful host/owner. Wilson helped us with our arrival, dinner and early transportation to the airport. Couldn’t have asked better service, genuine friendliness and hospitality, at even the finest of resorts or hotels. Bravo!
