Positive: The owners are incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. They made our stay very comfortable and worry free. Breakfast was something different every day, we were able to use a kitchen, we rented a scooter with them, we were able to do some laundry, and they called us a taxi when heading back to the airport. The room itself was everything you need it to be, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. You can just ask for it to be cleaned any day. We also had a balcony with seats, hammocks and a view of the bay.

Summary: Highly recommended. Friendly owners and good facilities.

Positive: Slow down, adjust to the island and you just might find what we discovered at Posada Aleeny: Sincere hospitality and new friends. A longer stay will work better for you, as you recall why you travel: to be immersed in a new culture and environment. If you are ready, you will find no better guides than Dany and Micheli, hosts with hearts wide enough to welcome those willing to explore. Exceptional local food is one pathway they will lead you into their world with; spot on local advice and contacts will be another. Keeping in mind that the welcome they are providing is happening at the far edge of services and infrastructure in an area that was devistated by hurricane just a few years ago will sharpen your appreciation of just how much Dany, Micheli and their extended families are doing to share their community and lives with you. The facilities, location and value were exactly what we were hoping for and matched our expectations perfectly.

Positive: If you visit Providencia, I highly recommend staying at Posada Aleeny. The family that runs the place is very welcoming, making you feel like part of a big family. The location is perfect, as you can reach anywhere on the island quickly. The room I stayed in had excellent air conditioning, which was great for cooling down after a long day at the beach. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced while traveling through Colombia. The breakfast included in the price was really nice, and I would definitely recommend it. Overall, if you have any questions or need anything, the hosts are always happy to help. My stay was incredible, and I will definitely come back one day. I can only recommend it 10/10!

Positive: Lovely homestay with the best family! Michelle and Danny go out of their way to help with recommendations, let us use their kitchen and welcomed us as if we were part of their family. Can only say good things and recommend everyone to stay. They also have a new puppy called Hulk who I fell in love with and is the cutest, this would be enough to sway me to stay without all the other amazing things! Good value for money, powerful aircon, property in a good location to explore and you can also rent a moped for exploring directly from Danny too for $90k a day and they provide both Beach and bath towels which helped with packing. They also did a delicious breakfast for us for a small price each day. Would definitely stay again if we return one day!

Negative: Nothing, all excellent. Maybe providing shampoo would be an added extra as we brought small bags and had to buy some but not a necessity!

Positive: Best stay in Colombia! Great host, so kind and lovely! Rented a scooter to me. Best AC on this trip, comfy bed, netflix on tv, good size. Great wifi. If you go to Providencia this is the place to be! Everything was just perfect!

Positive: Probably the best stay we had during our 2 weeks trip around Colombja. The Hosts are SO welcoming and nice. they’re so polite and always smiling. The Room was spacious, bright and super clean. The bathroom was huge! Has a nice patio area with a couple chairs where you can enjoy the view of the surroundings. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and everybody is friendly. The hosts had motorbikes to rent and they helped us arrange an half day trip to Cayo Cangrejo. they make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay. Location is perfect as it’s halfway between Almod beach (SO nice) and the town center, very convenient. We honestly didnt want to leave.. Thank you for your incredible hospitality!
