Summary: Location is great and staff was friendly. Floors were not cleaned adequately. There were dead small bugs and hair on the sheet covering the box spring, and bed skirts were not very clean. The mattress covers were stained and should have been replaced. Bathroom sink was clogged. Some of these items were addressed by staff. The room has a kitchenette but zero pots, pans, utensils, can opener, etc. You have to bring everything. This is not a pet friendly hotel. We have a service dog but we’re told that this is a no pet hotel. Having said that, they did not hassle us since we presented the service dog documentation. We stayed at this hotel before with no real issues other than un-equipped kitchenette. I hope this was a one time issue.

Summary: Love that it offered 2 "rooms" for sleeping arrangements. Towels needed to be upgraded. They were basically just rags. Cleanliness felt like someone just went in and out in under 5 minutes, though at least the bed linens were clean. Needs to have access to mop and broom so that guests could keep floors clean.

Summary: I read the reviews before checking in so I kind of knew what to expect. Our room was not that clean and we had to cleaned it ourselves when we got there. The bed was really hard so I had a hard time sleeping. The plus side was that South Padre Island was only about 10 minutes away. Having a kitchen was great. We were able to cook to save money. Overall the stay was okay. I got what I paid for.

Summary: For the money I’d stay again. Everything clean except floor corners . One dead roach after first night . Plenty of room . One bedroom ,full kitchen, table chairs,couch, two tvs, close to HEB and fishing.
