Positive: Excellent building, terrific food, vegetarian friendly, and comfortable bed. Show was excellent, though it took some time for the hot water to reach our end of the house. The owners were very helpful suggesting who to contact for tours (horse drawn are much nicer and calmer). Not too far to walk for excellent lunch and dinner. House has rooftop solar and an EV so it definitely made us feel at home. The owner’s wife is an excellent cook. The owner is a terrific photographer. We would definitely return.

Positive: Lovely lovely lovely!! Seriously, my favorite stay during my trip to ireland. Im so very glad we found this place. The owner was so nice. The house was beautiful and clean and welcoming. The breakfast options were perfect. The host went above and beyond for us when she didnt need to. 10/10 recommend this place and the island in general.

Positive: The hosts are the most friendly and hospitable you could ask to meet. When I explained that I'd be arriving in the dark and without a phone, they immediately offered to meet me at the ferry. They were very helpful in giving advice and directions, and even carried my bag upstairs for me. The location is very convenient to walk into town, walk around the island, or bike or whatever. The kitchen is available for light cooking, and there's a sitting room. Breakfast included scones, muffins, bread, jam, juice, cereal and various fruits. The bed was the only really comfortable one I encountered on my Ireland trip. The sheets were soft cotton and the bath towel was luxuriously soft.

Negative: The main thing I didn't like was that I didn't book this place for a longer stay! It was a bit noisy in the evenings because bedroom and bathroom doors closed loudly, and that and voices of people in other rooms could be heard all over the house. But this didn't go on for very long, about an hour or so each night and it was over.

Summary: Pleasant, quiet stay in the Aran Islands, nice hosts.
