Positive: Another excellent stay at this property, so clean fresh and comfortable. Pops cottage was so warm and cozy. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. I 100% recommend this farm stay for family and friends. Thank you to Karen and Shane for your hospitality. I'm sure we will be back.

Positive: I had THE BEST TIME staying at Pops Cottage, MERIGAN Homestead, Mount Fairy. It was better than I expected and the perfect way to spend my birthday with my closest loved ones - Darren and our two dogs. We all enjoyed ourselves and were made to feel very welcome and extremely comfortable! Thanks Tim for sharing your amazing home with us and our dogs. And a very special thanks to Karen for her hospitality and care in making Pop's Cottage such a cosy and comfortable stay. We felt right home. And Shane, thank you for being so friendly and welcoming and ensuring that we (especially the dogs) enjoyed our stay. My dogs are my family and their enjoyment is very important to me. Negative: It was unclear on the booking information that the Homestead was called Merigan. It would have helped with the direction. However, when I texted Tim he gave great directions.

Positive: Cute cottage exactly like in the photos.

Negative: Hard to find in the dark with road works. There was a slight cigarette smell in the cottage and the fridge woke me up three times during the night with the noise it made.

Positive: We loved how quiet, remote and quaint the cottage was. It was lovely to go back to basics. The inside fireplace was gorgeous. Can I just say that bed was soooooo comfy. I dont think I’ve had that good a sleep in a long time - sooooo comfy!

Positive: Cute cottage in a peaceful location. Historical background and friendly french caretaker couple were great.

Negative: We liked the resident dogs who were beautiful but it caused us to restrict our own dog to stay inside the cottage the whole time. Also upon arrival both dogs jumped on my car, one causing a scratch.Its lucky I took the old car and not the newer one.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Pop's Cottage - what a gorgeous retreat! The property is located a short drive off the road creating a peaceful oasis with lush gardens and friendly doggos. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and made sure to let us know they were there to answer any questions during our stay. If you're looking for a sweet little retreat amongst nature, then I highly recommend this stay.
