Positive: Cute cottage in a peaceful location. Historical background and friendly french caretaker couple were great.

Negative: We liked the resident dogs who were beautiful but it caused us to restrict our own dog to stay inside the cottage the whole time. Also upon arrival both dogs jumped on my car, one causing a scratch.Its lucky I took the old car and not the newer one.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Pop's Cottage - what a gorgeous retreat! The property is located a short drive off the road creating a peaceful oasis with lush gardens and friendly doggos. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and made sure to let us know they were there to answer any questions during our stay. If you're looking for a sweet little retreat amongst nature, then I highly recommend this stay.

Positive: We had an amazing overnight stay in this charming garden cottage. The space was clean, cosy, and beautifully surrounded by a well kept and stunning garden full of creeping roses — it felt like a little retreat tucked away from the world. The bed was super comfortable, and all the small touches made it feel instantly welcoming. The kitchen was basic but all we needed. The fire was also lovely to light when it became a little cold in the evening. I also really loved patting the friendly sheepdogs! The host and his team were thoughtful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From clear communication and directions to helpful recommendations, they made the stay feel effortless. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape.
