Positive: Property is basic but functional. Location was tricky to find due to poor signage and a bit remote. Bathroom needs a significant upgrade. WiFi connection was poor. Quiet location, rustic but homely accommodation.

Positive: It was very clean and tidy and the directions given made it very east to find ...it was in a lovely location nice and quiet area..very spacious ...Nice layout of the property we loved every minute of it whilst we were there...would highly recommend this property for anyone

Positive: Beautiful location, spacious comfortable living area, outside area for dog. Good value for money - if you don't want the height of luxury, as it could do with some refurbishment. Near a great garden centre for breakfast. Parking for a couple of cars.

Negative: Only one shower over bath - en-suite no shower just bath. Some matresses in need of replacement. Main bedroom only had double bed and the kingsize was in another small room - seemed odd! Wifi not the best - although 2 to choose between. No phone signal.

Summary: Good value weekend break.

Positive: Lovely spacious cottage in a perfect location for visiting the university and Lancaster centre. Very comfortable and clean with a good range of kitchen equipment. The host was friendly and communicative and responded quickly to my questions. Nice outside area overlooking the fields.

Negative: The wifi and mobile signal were very patchy but we managed by going outside where the signal was better. It would have been nice to have some soap in the bathrooms and maybe a small welcome package on arrival - milk, wine, tea and coffee biscuits. I know this is not a necessity but we have got something like that everywhere else we have booked and it leaves a lasting impression.
