Positive: the property is in a great spot close to town. Spotlessly clean and well presented. A very generous supply of snacks and enough for a light breakfast (even though not included) I just wish I had been there long enough to enjoy the putting green in the backyard
Negative: car port is only for sedans would not fit a 4 WD, but nice and close to the entrance so we did not get wet

Positive: We brought our own food, so did not use any of the supplied foods. What we noticed in the cupboards and fridge would have been adequate. The beds were very comfortable. The supplied towels were in excellent condition. The cooling was great too, even in the second bedroom which did not have a reverse cycle unit (ceiling fan was sufficient). The main pub had large meals for dinner time and was within walking distance.
Negative: Having only a single toilet which was in the same room as the shower involved some logistical discussions as we were 3 adults (2 males, 1 female). The drive had a deep gutter from the street which would have been made deeper due to rains (it was gravel) and one of the cars scraped the front bumper (no significant damage) but we were able to navigate leaving the property with no issues.
Summary: Excelent value for money acommodation. Booked on morning of stay for a single night.

Positive: Can't speak highly enough of our experience at Poppies Clunes, it was just the perfect place for a comfortable and relaxing long weekend, it had everything we needed and more. Lynne is such an amazing and thoughtful host! She has the place full of little details to make the guests experience a blissful one, hope we can come back soon 💖

Positive: very convenient: easy walking distance to shops, attractions. Very quiet. very well appointed, lots of little extras like wine, nibbles. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. We are certainly thinking of coming back!

Positive: The house was warm, cosy and very relaxing. It is a 2 minute walk to the main street of Clunes. The breakfast provisions were like a 5 Star resort. Beds are very comfortable with bathrobes included which was an added bonus.
Negative: We didn't like that we couldn't stay longer!
