Built in the 1700s, it is an organic farmhouse that produces its own wine and has an organic restaurant, open from Wednesday to Sunday. The philosophy that inspired the creation of the property, as well as the raw materials used in the kitchen and everything we grow, including the wine we produce, is inspired by environmental sustainability. The energy sources for heating and hot water production use exclusively renewable sources such as: photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal and biomass. For these reasons, the shower water cannot be boiling, but only pleasantly warm. This eco-friendly property is actually an ex monastery with a quiet setting in the hills and surrounded by its private vineyards. It has been built using natural materials such as stone and wood. Rooms are allergy-free and have a modern design with wood floors and interesting furnishings. With free Wi-Fi, all rooms overlook the surrounding countryside and vineyards and have access to a bioclimatic veranda. Agriturismo Polisena L'Altro uses homegrown ingredients in its organic restaurant, with a mainly vegetarian proposal. You can also take part in wine tastings in the property's vineyard. Positive: The view was amazing and the facilities/accomodation was fantastic (luxerious, clean, well maintained). Also the service and home made breakfast were super good!

Negative: Do note we've rated this place a 10, but we would have used a swimming pool of there was any. Also, as tip for improvement; maybe a bit more green on the terrasse outside (in any case, the terrasse was very nice and tidy, just thinking about things that could make it even better)

Summary: With a surrounding and accomodation this beautiful, we cannot think of any reason not to visit!

Positive: The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. The quality of the food is on another level; from the dinners at the restaurant to the breakfast, everything was fantastic. The locally produced wine and honey were eye-opening.

Negative: Not negative, just a heads up: In the bathroom, there is a switch next to the sink that turns off the light above the mirror. We discovered this on the last day after spending loads of time looking for it.

Negative: Housekeeping let us without tees, the bath floor was dirty and the room temperature was low. The normal bottle of water in the room we paid on the end and was very expansive …
