Summary: Nice place, nice people.

Summary: The hotel property is a beautiful spot directly on Seneca Lake. We stayed in Room 8 which is a room in one of the 4 room cabins on the north side of the property. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean, albeit a little small for two woman companions traveling with too much luggage. (There is no closet and no dedicated space for luggage or luggage racks.) But we are two very good friends and are able to work out our stays whereever we go. We had one dinner meal in the lodge's restaurant which we found highly disappointing. The menu is fairly limited, and they were "out of" the scallop dish we were interested in, so we chose a pasta dish which turned out to be nothing better than "Beefaroni". Complimentary breakfast muffins provided in the main inn building each morning were however delicious!

Summary: The property is very nice since it is right on the lake. seating on the dock makes for a beautiful spot to sit and relax. A more complete breakfast would be nice, but the muffins are good!

Summary: Wonderful stay, beautiful property right on the lake.

Summary: The location was beautiful. The nightly fire was a perfect end of the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoying my cup of coffee and looking out over the lake was wonderful.

Summary: Everything was fine except the checkout time. We arrived in the early evening and were informed that the checkout time was 10:00 am. In our opinion, that is way too early, given the price for the room, and especially since we arrived in the early evening. Had we known this when we booked, we would not have done so.

Summary: Nothing but positive reviews! Beautiful property with amazing views and excellent restaurant. Central to wine tasting all around the fingerlakes. Stayed in their Yurt and it was comfortable and inviting.
Jenny Jul 22, 2026 08:06:22 AM
Summary: Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean. But pillows and bedding were sub-par.
Elizabeth Jul 12, 2026 08:25:40 PM
Summary: We really enjoyed our quiet relaxed experience. The insight restaurant was delicious and the blazing Firepit overlooking the lake was perfect. Our room was comfortable and the staff very helpful.
