Positive: This hotel has had extensive renovation and decoration over the past few years, and it is a really nice place to stay. Very clean, very comfortable and with a very good breakfast! Staff are lovely and always helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Negative: The flush on the toilet cystern was broken but this was a minor hiccup.

Summary: Great value, very clean.

Positive: I loved my stay at this hotel. The location was very close to the station and the city centre. The room was cozy and warm. The breakfast was also amazing which is a plus.

Positive: Pretty well everything. Must more interesting than a modern "long parallel corridors" type of hotel. Breakfast was excellent and just £10.

Negative: Bar could have stayed open later. It was closed by the time we got back from the Pub. One real ale in the bar would have been nice. Bed was a standard double. Most hotels these days have king size. To be fair this an old building so rooms wer not designed for a larger bed.

Summary: For an overnight in central Northampton it was perfect.
