Summary: This place is incredible, our 2nd visit there. Oceanside pool and easy beach access and long term repeat customers over 2-3 decades. Met the owner. The staff is exceptional and suoer accommodating.

Summary: Spotless room with full-size fridge, 2 burner stove and fully stocked kitchen. Pristine pool . Backs up to a private beach with glorious sunset views. Staff were efficient and welcoming. Location is close to great dining (1200 Chophouse) and excursions. Already planning my next visit!

Summary: No food offered on the hotel, just coffee. I didn’t like the hidden fees $20 each person for the wristband as a way of charging extra fees. This should be disclosed during the charging per night process.

Summary: The employees were all very nice and helpful. Truly. First of all, the bathroom was in need of deep cleaning and repair. The room itself was clean. The beds were HORRIBLE. The pillows were literally worn out, hard as blocks and FILTHY. We couldn’t get our room cleaned or the bed changed until the 4th day. For 2 days we were told they were short staffed and the cleaning person did not have enough time to do the beds but she could give us sheets and we could change the bed ourselves. We actually pay for the room being cleaned, bed made and sheets changed but at Plaza Beach Resort you pay but don’t receive the services you pay for. We had to change the trash ourselves and sit the bags outside the door for someone to pick up. This also included our bath towels. Everyone at the hotel was having to do this. Piles of towels and garbage outside the doors. When we finally got confirmation of someone coming to change the sheets we decided help her out and take the sheets, blanket and mattress cover off the bed. When I went to remove the sheet and mattress pad I noticed a large red stain that looked like kool-aid or some kind of juice (maybe?) towards the bottom edge of the bed. (This was not our “stain”) I removed the sheet and the stain was also on the mattress cover and made me realize the sheets weren’t changed from the last person!!! Disgusting and unsanitary! Do not waste your money. Pay a little more and get a room at Sirata or PostCard Inn that is worth it and clean!

Summary: My stay was just what I needed. The hotel is adorable, cozy and more than enough. But if I’m completely honest it’s all about the location. This hotel has on if the best beach spots and Lordy if I didn’t take advantage of that! I got plenty of sun, the water was fantastic and it’s also a pretty good spot for shelling. The beach is great yeah but that staff were excellent too! It literally is like family, they made sure I was comfortable and taken care off. They have this texting system now that they check in on you for time to time. Just the right amount though. It’s not over the top. I had a little hiccup with my stay and it wasn’t their fault. We had some heavy rain at the time and my ceiling was leaking for a bit. They didn’t hesitate to help, but I was leaving the day after and to me it didn’t make sense to switch a room. I’ve also noticed that this place has families coming and going! It’s a great family oriented resort that’s also very eco friendly!

Summary: Great family beach stay. The retro look was fun. The mini golf course is great. The pool is big enough for several families to use at the same time. The beach access was the real plus. Being able to just wake up and walk out to the beach was fantastic. Plus the pool side bar for parents was great.

Summary: Our stay was great! My boys had a blast hanging out by the pool, playing volleyball, and enjoying corn hole in between our daily trips to the beach. This is definitely an older hotel, so don’t expect anything fancy or upscale—but it was perfect for our week-long vacation. Despite its age, everything was well-maintained and kept very clean, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, making it ideal for families. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, relaxing beach getaway!

Summary: They were very prompt when answering questions or issues. The staff was very friendly. However, the kids play area looks like yard sale clutter and the what is suppose to be a private beach is congested with locals bringing in their own tents that even finding a seat with a view of the water seems impossible. As far as the room goes, the theme vision was clear, however needs updates. Ceiling fan needs replaced, took a long time to cool the room down. Never saw a housekeeper in our 3 day stay.
