Summary: The hotel website did not disclose that the pool was closed for extensive weeks long repair. Anyone with kids travelling for sports (a core customer for these types of hotels on weekends) knows this is a keystone consideration when booking. The hotel knows it as well which is why they didn’t update their website (or Expedia) with the info. It’s best practice and reflects poorly on the location and chain not to do so.
