Positive: Pitcorthie House is a lovely one bedroom home in an ideal location (superstore and takeaways nearby). Primarily, we were visiting family but it is ideal for everything Edinburgh has to offer and more. Our grandson particularly liked the Scottish Deer Centre in nearby Cupar. The house is exceptionally clean and well appointed. We look forward to booking next time we're in Scotland.

Positive: The house was lovely, immaculately clean, comfortable, located in a peaceful area with a spacious field just a 5min walk away, perfect for walking my dog. It's also only a 30min drive to Edinburgh city center, offering the perfect balance of convenience and relaxation. Andrea was prompt in answering any questions and had the house well-arranged, with great attention to detail. Although we didn’t get to enjoy the decking due to the winter weather, I’m sure it’s wonderful in the summer. On our next trip to Scotland, this will definitely be our first choice for accommodation!

Negative: My dog had difficulty with the laminate flooring, so he was mostly confined to the size of the rug, though I understand this may not be an issue for every dog. The washing machine runs slowly, and the spin cycle is very loud, I could feel the vibrations in the bedroom. However, it didn’t bother us too much since we spent most of our holiday out walking, leaving us tired in the evenings and less aware of the noise.

Positive: Wonderful, clean, and comfortable apartment. Great location close to everything we wanted to do/see. Also close to public transit and grocery stores, which was convenient! The hosts were very timely with answering any questions and have the apartment set up very nice. Next time we come to Scotland this will be the first place we look at availability!

Positive: Clean and uncluttered, and felt newly refurbished. Easy to find. Shower room was lovely.

Negative: The patio furniture could do with a power wash / upgrade. The property is also a few metres from a road that's used as a rat run in the early hours of the morning. Consequently we were woken very early each morning with traffic.
