Positive: The location is beautiful - very peaceful, with lovely views for miles. The goats behind the property were great fun and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment (and some lovely treats were provided for us guests) , wet rooms were fab and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There were some great places to eat out within a 5 minute drive of the property. We loved it.

Negative: The wifi was not good in parts of the property (although mobile coverage was great, so devices could be tethered). There could be more hanging space and spare blankets. So, only a couple of tiny things to mention here!

Summary: I guess the best indicator of how good a place was is whether you would return - we definitely will!

Positive: lovely, clean, cosy and well equipped barn conversion. we were left a yummy welcome tray with lots of Christmas goodies 😋. The Christmas decorations added such a festive feel.

Positive: This is our 2nd visit here. The accommodation was spotless and easy to find. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, eggs from their hens, etc that was provided on arrival was a really nice surprise and the hot tub was great after spending a long day at Alton Towers. We bumped into the hosts during our stay and they were so friendly. Will definitely be back again!

Summary: 2nd visit and still as great as the 1st time we visited!

Positive: Absolutely lovely property. It was very clean and welcoming. It was in a decent location to local shops and services. Decent drive to Alton Towers but manageable. The hot tub was great and very clean, one of the owners cleaning it again mid stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the living room was homey! They left a wide range of board games and card games, too. If you travel there, check the guest book for recommendations of what to do in the area!

Negative: It was slightly difficult to find the property initially but it was easy once you first locate it.

Positive: Perfect from start to finish. Property is absolutely gorgeous, spotless, warm, cosy, clean, fully equipped, couldn't ask for any more. We met the lovely Shirley who introduced us to Dotty and Dora, Nigel the beautiful dog who is definitely King of the castle along with all of the family goats . Thankyou so much Shirley and family, it was a pleasure to meet you and we wish you every success with this beautiful venture, we will alwaysremember you and the gorgeous playful Nigel xxx

Negative: Directions from Booking. Com. Drove up and down Stallington Road for half an hour, finally found the FULL address on another site, please mention... Gorsty Farm.... private road opposite the house number on stallington road, some of us are scared to go down a private road that says trespassers will be prosecuted!!! Better directions booking. Com

Positive: The little touches of leaving freshly laid eggs, which were delicious! The hot tub was ready for us to use as soon as we arrived and the 2 goats in the pen opposite the garden were very entertaining.

Negative: More places to use the hangers to hang clothes as the towels took up most of the hanging space.

Summary: Was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay with 20 minute drive to Alton Towers.
