Positive: Loved the chippy directly next door and a the Black Swan over the road. Bath robes provided was a nice touch, also lots of bits and bobs provided such as foil, cling film, salt and vinegar etc. Liked the recycling facilities.

Negative: Couldn't fault it really. It is a rural village but there are shops at Cawood and Selby and the pub sell sweets if you are desperate.

Summary: A lovely place, very rural village, but with an excellent chip-shop and a pub a stone's throw away.

Negative: A few things could have been cleaner. The dishwasher was very dirty and consequently the plates etc felt dirty.

Positive: It was beautifully located. Great off street parking. Plenty of outdoor seating. Large property with a lovely traditional feel along with some lovely modern decor too.

Negative: The outdoor bins had not been emptied and were overflowing so we had to move the bins onto the driveway as they were attracting flys. There was an infestation of very large flies in the living room/ dining room, not sure where they were coming from with the doors and windows being closed. Apart from the above there was nothing personally that we as a large family didn’t like about the property.

Summary: Beautiful house in a beautiful village, ideal for large groups.

Positive: Great location, all bedrooms comfortable. Lots of space - furniture all good quality. Owner responsive and the property was clean.

Negative: Just needs a little extra love - several windows blinds don’t work. Could do with some extra kitchenware (bread knife, spare tea towels and some washing sponges). Very small things in balance.

Positive: Spacious- plenty of room for four couples a teenager and a dog . Beds were large and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Beautiful character property, we really enjoyed our stay in Wistow.

Negative: Overall very clean but the bedroom with the fire place smelt of damp/dog.

Positive: The property was amazon its was so big so all of us was perfectly fitted in and the bedrooms was so comfortable, we really enjoyed staying there and I really recommended this property to everyone.

Negative: The only problem it has it was the vacuum cleaner was not working so we couldn’t clean the house easily.
