State Game Lands 208 is less than 1/2 mile, if that, away from this property for wonderful hunting. Summary: The owners were very flexible- communication could have been better. Great place if it’s warm enough to use the outdoor areas including the great porch but it was too cold when we were there. Also not able to use wood stove which was one of the reasons we rented the space.

Summary: It was a nice little place to stay. Amenities were good and within walking distance to a very nice restaurant called the Log Cabin. The driveway could use some improvements but that wouldn't prevent me from renting it again!

Summary: The kitchen setup was good - there could be more and or updated cooking utensils - not a major flaw. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. The grill worked but is kind of old. I asked the host a couple of questions of which some were answered but others not - not really about the property but about things nearby. The description of the property was very helpful. Ultimately we loved the location and the surroundings and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The perfect place for our "Sister's Trip". Safe enough for one sister recovering from hip replacement surgery. The Tree House gives one permission to turn everything off and just read and knit with the sound of the creek in the background. We had great fun and lots of laughter making blueberry muffins without a muffin pan. Generally very comfortable. Really appreciated the big screened in porch. Saw a Bald Eagle, 4 Merganzers, Grey Herron, Deer and Chipmonks.Corning, NY was a great 'day trip' to see the Glass Museum and the Rockwell Museum. Also enjoyed The Lumber Museum one afternoon.Pine Creek Tree House is on our list to repeat!
