Summary: My stay at this BNB was wonderful! Rosy is an excellent host. She’s is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. She made sure that my stay was all I was looking for it to be. On request she arranged a horseback ride outing and an in-room massage. In the morning she had breakfast ready, which is also tailor made to my dietary needs. The suite was very well lite with a nice size kitchen and well appointed bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall very clean room. The grounds are well kept up. I didn’t go in the pool as the temps were very low. There are horses grazing on the neighboring properties; beautiful natural landscape. Overall it was a relaxing low key weekend spent in nature and tranquility. The BNB is 20 min from the famous Cascate del Mulino thermal baths and the Terme di Saturnia Hot Springs resort. I highly recommend staying at Rosy’s place and plan to do so the next time I’m in Italy.

Summary: Although we were only able to stay one day and night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The farmhouse is surrounded by horses in the pastures and picturesque views in every direction of the Tuscan hills and vineyards.The room was clean and good sized with a large walk-in shower in the updated bathroom. The staff were incredibly accommodating and caring. The breakfast provided was so delicious. We wish our iteneray would have allowed us to stay longer. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: We stayed only one night year since this was part of a road trip, but it was definitely worth it! The room was large and we could get a good night of sleep. In the morning we woke up with an incredible view, dived in the swimming pool and catched some sun. Then we were completely refreshed and ready to continue our adventure! The place is a bit isolated, i would keep it in mind if your intention is to move every day to go visit different places.

Summary: This tuscan farm stay definitely stood out from the rest. Such a great place to unwind and enjoy the tuscan scenery. The attached winery was beautiful as well. The pictures really doesn't do it justice.

Summary: Absolute bliss! Property is on a farm, woke up to the most beautiful sunrise and slept after watch the gorgeous sunset. The staff was very helpful. Everything was very clean, besides the shower floor. It was such a nice relaxing time here compared to being in Rome and everywhere else. 25 mins away to Saturnia baths. Hope to be back again!

Summary: We were quite happy with our stay. It was a last minute decision to book a place since we had driven down from Pisa area to visit Saturnia. It is easy to drive back from there in a day, but we decided to make a night of it. The girl that met us at the unit was very sweet and helpful. Although we did not speak Italian, she got out her phone and used Google Translate and we were on our way. The pool was relaxing, the atmosphere was very tranquil, with the sounds of horses and other animals going about their day. In the morning a beautiful spread of typical Italian breakfast items were laid out by the same girl who greeted us. She also prepared a fresh espresso for us, which was so delicious. We will definetly be back!

Summary: This was our first time to Tuscany and we really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was accommodating for a late check in. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, felt very at home. Each room as a cute patio with a beautiful view. Half hour drive to the hot springs in Saturnia. We even decided to stay a second night.

Summary: We arrived at Pietriccio Rosso after spending 5 days touring around Rome, Amalfi Coast and Bari. It was a beautiful and relaxing change of scenery. The bed & breakfast is located in the rolling hills of Manciano. The view from the country house is breathtaking. The rooms are new and clean with lots of space. The property also has a pool, horseback riding and a vineyard. The owners and staff are friendly and full of information about the local area and can suggest places to go, things to see and excellent restaurants to eat at. We had a wonderful time touring the area and checking out all of the places they suggested (town of Manciano & Pitigliano, Archaeological Park of Vulci, town of Orbetello & Monte Argentario, hot springs of Saturnia). This is an excellent location and beautiful country house but can be tricky to find especially at night. Follow the directions completely including 9km mark on road SP67. Country house driveway entrance could be lit better at night, and don't take a low sports car (Ferrari or Lamborghini) up driveway, but our rental BMW was fine.
