Positive: I love everything there, the service,the breakfast, the nice views, the pool and the comfortable room. My boyfriend and I had really nice stay there. wanna go back again with my friends and family.

Positive: Elena and Franco have just given us one of the most enjoyable holidays we have experienced. Pietraio is beautifully presented and in the most spectacular location for those wanting peace, quiet and who enjoy the natural pleasures of rural Tuscany. The surrounding scenery is wonderful and the farmhouse was spotless. Elena’s attention to us as guests and sense of humour made our six day stay most enjoyable. The pool and immaculately kept garden made it hard to leave each day and explore the rest of the area. For those wishing to enjoy the outstanding Sienese hill towns and surrounding countryside this is the place to stay.

Negative: Do not be put off by comments regarding the ‘off road’ access. For us the sights and sounds of the wildlife made the experience even more memorable.

Positive: It’s such a beautiful place. Like from the movies. The hostess was super friendly and kind, she made her own pastries for breakfast. Everything was squeaky clean - nothing else on our week long trip was this clean like this place.

Positive: Top place in Tuscany. We stayed in a lovely apartment for a week. All facilities were amazing and Elena always made sure that we are happy with everything. All area of the villa was clean and tidy, our room smelt lovely every day. Its an amazing place to fully relax. Its also a good spot to travel around Tuscany. One of the best places we stayed. Hope to come back

Positive: Elena’s home is as wonderful and welcoming as Elena herself. The property and gardens are beautiful. The rooms are traditionally Tuscan and kept lovely. The breakfast room is bright and homely, and we looked forward to Elena’s breakfast spread each morning. I’ll be attempting to make her crossata on our return home!
