Positive: The place had a cozy vibe with tons of board games and a well-maintained deck. Host was very responsive and helpful; easy check-in/out procedures. Great location, too. Plenty of parking space in the driveway. No issues with the AC; no issues with Wi-Fi. The upstairs/ loft area gets warm in the afternoon, but there were big fans available that we moved around to get the air circulated better. Kitchen had nearly everything we needed, including some crockpots. Fridge, dishwasher, and grill worked great. And, there were no issues with bathroom/ laundry machines.

Negative: Inaccurate room/bed descriptions had us confused upon arrival, but we received clarification from the host that the twin bed has another twin bed that rolls out from under, and that the 3rd room refers to the upstairs/loft area with a full-sized bed wedged into the corner space. The "3rd room" doesn't have a door or closet; it's just the entire "upstairs area." Couldn't find any fire extinguishers. The kitchen could use a new cutting board and sharper kitchen/steak knives. Coffee/ tea drawer could use some organization. And maybe an extra trash bin and a bin for recyclables (cans/bottles). The sofas felt a bit old and in need of an upgrade. But otherwise, an enjoyable stay. 9 out of 10 would visit again.

Positive: The comfiest stay of our holiday. This cabin is full to the brim with character and great care. I enjoyed the rural location, a huge range of bird species, the games, and the practicality of a full kitchen. Highly recommend.

Negative: The road from Sequoia National Park is under repair, with a detour safer driven during daylight.

Positive: The cabin was so cute and cozy. I really liked how the furniture isn’t updated because it very much reminded me of how my house used to be and brought back nostalgic memories 🤍 The location was perfect because the cabin is slightly higher so we got to enjoy the snow at the comfort from the cabin. Sequoia National park is also just an hour away. Everything was just beautiful!

Negative: The only thing we didn’t like was the pull out bed was broken. There was a nob from the stove that kept falling and the second toilet was clogged the first night. Just a few minor to things to bring attention to. Everything else was exceptional.

Summary: Whole trip felt magical due to the snow. My family really enjoyed every minute of it.
