Summary: Pier B was the perfect place to stay for UMD graduation at AmSoil arena. Front desk staff set us up with a wheelchair to push grandma to the event as it was a beautiful day and only about a 7 min walk along the shore vs. sitting in a traffic jam. Rooms clean. Staff excellent. Silos was fine - best part was the Rustic Inn pies. Fitness Center very small. Outdoor areas were excellent.

Summary: Would have been helpful to have staff when we checked in let us know there was a Mother’s Day. Breakfast Buffett that reservations were needed for as the website says no reservations needed for breakfast

Summary: Check-in was rough. The hotel did not have our reservation from Hotels.com. After providing the reservation number, we were asked for proof that it had been paid for. The woman at the front desk was pretty rude to us during the whole process. We ended getting a 2 Queen room instead of a King room we reserved. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.

Summary: We really loved the firepits and s'mores that were made available (and free!). Silo restaurant was good food and reasonably priced. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

Summary: The room was delightful with high ceilings on the first floor and a beautiful view of the lift bridge and superior. The hot tub was so enjoyable and big enough for many guests. Loved our stay here and we’ll be back!

Summary: We booked a three-night stay (Feb 18–21, 2026) at Pier B, primarily for a snowmobile tour. Unfortunately, due to a massive blizzard, our tour for the following day was cancelled right as we arrived. The rooms were simple but very clean and well-maintained. Since we had no reason left to stay in Duluth, we were worried about the remaining two nights. However, the hotel staff was incredibly understanding. They immediately refunded our money for the following two nights without any hassle. We are so grateful for their flexibility and kindness!
