Positive: Location was perfect. Right on the beach. Not crowded and private. Walkable to a few stores and restaurants and a quick drive to even more. Sandy beach, good snorkelling nearby and good proximity to hiking and other activities.

Negative: Was sure we booked oceanview but upon arrival they said we had booked garden view. It was not very clear in the listing.

Positive: The location is just outside of Portsmouth on a very quite beach with amazing snorkeling from the beach, just swim to the right of the old pier to access the coral reef. Air conditioning in the bedroom was very nice.

Negative: We were expecting the cottages to be a bit rustic, and they were. However, the tub/shower was in rough shape and the kitchen sink hot water handle was stripped so it took a bit to figure out how to turn it on. Minor issues really for all that was great about the location and property.

Summary: Great location to take in all that this beautiful island has to offer.

Negative: A bit outside of Portsmouth, too far to walk but easy to catch a taxi. The restaurant next door was expensive with marginal food and service

Positive: We loved our beachfront cottage, neither of us wanted to leave. The beach is beautiful and we almost had the place to ourselves. We only had a quick weekend away but we visited from a neighbouring island and plan to go back and enjoy the setting once again and experience a little more of the surrounding area. The breakfast available at the adjoining restaurant was really great and we also tried lunch on our final day. Staff were exceptional, we had atm issues on our final day and they were able to assist in order for us to get home without missing our departure. I absolutely loved waking up to the sound of the sea and opening the cottage door to the morning light over the water. Could have spent hours on the shady terrace reading, it was perfect. I also made a fuss of the resident cat, she was gorgeous.

Positive: I loved the coziness and comfort of the cottage. The size of the space, the cleanliness and the warmth of the staff and host. Waking up and going to sleep to thr calming sounds of the waves was a bonus, it was an awesome experience having the beach just a few steps away.

Positive: Perfect for the occasion🥰, it was a girls' trip, and so the ambiance and layout was perfect 👌 loved being close proximity to the beach🫶... literally a stone throw. Staff were very hospitable and friendly😎. The accommodation for food at the restaurant was amazing!😌 The cottages were well equipped and well kept, and everything was functional. 👌👏 Pinard was very helpful.💖 Ms. Lexy was the most!!!!..🤩..awesome folks!!! My cousins and I were most pleased with our first trip to Dominica 😌

Negative: Mosquitoes and Sandflies, but that's totally beyond the host control.
