Positive: Such a beautiful and peaceful oasis! Very good value for money, clean rooms and staff were lovely and very helpful. We did a guided afternoon tour on the Mekong delta, and loved it! Also a very nice area for biking, and it was free to borrow bikes at the homestay. Would highly recommend!

Positive: Very special thank you to the staff for making our stay truly memorable. They were incredibly caring and kind, always attentive to our needs and genuinely helpful. Every problem was solved quickly and with a smile, and their positive energy made us feel at home. We loved the room — a beautiful accommodation surrounded by a lovely garden. The cats were the cherry on top and brought so much joy. They also prepared breakfast for us and cooked amazing dinners, which made the experience even more special. We are very grateful and would happily come back.

Positive: The homestay was beautiful, with a lovely garden and ponds. The room was clean and had a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was big and clean and had hot water. There are hammocks outside the room for relaxing. We borrowed some bicycles to go to restaurant nearby for lunch. It was fun to go though all the fruit orchards!

Negative: The homestay is located a bit away from the main road, so bigger cars may have difficulty getting there. But our host was very kind and carried our luggage on his motorbike. There are also a couple of dogs on the way who chase and bark at newcomers, but they get used to you from the next time.

Positive: A very quiet place, perfect for relaxing in the middle of the beautiful garden. The family who runs the establishment is lovely, the food is very good, and the online ordering system is great. The Mekong tour that the family offers is truly beautiful. A lovely homestay with a great family who takes great care of you. The rooms are nice and spacious.

Positive: Loved this place to get out of the busy city. Great place to relax and take it easy. The host was responsive and helped with everything. From transfer to tours. They were great and friendly. Their hospitality was very much appreciated. The food was delicious and reasonable. Not much around to walk to but bikes and scooters are available. Some food options were vegan or could be vegan/vegetarian. Ac in my unit worked great.

Negative: I wish the windows had screens to keep the mosquitoes out. It would be nice to have them open at night.

Positive: A fantastic remote place in a wonderful tranquil garden, with fishes, geckos, mice, a cat and a huge variety of plants, just wonderful! Also has a public terrace where you can overlook the tree tops. If you're coming from HCMC arrange that the owner calls you a taxi (should be around 35-40k), otherwise you'll stay at the roundabout forever. There are no grabs available. We had original booked a hut, but then noticed it's not a fully closed room and therefore doesn't have an AC, so we switched to one of the bungalow styled rooms. These are spacious, of course quite basic and as you would expect you've to share it with some insects - but then again, it's amidst the jungle. If you plan to eat outside you will have to find a way to get to Ben Tre, which btw isn't a town you wanna visit. There's basically nothing on the main road. You can easily dine at the homestay and choose between a few options. We had Tofu in tomato sauce which was really delicate. The prices might seem a little higher than on regular smaller restaurants. Breakfast is basic but also offers some variation. The absolute highlight is the family's magnificent friendliness, they're soo helpful, talkative and care about every aspect of your stay. We did the boat tour in a quite private setting for 500k, but then including all transport to the pier and back, which is convenient! He also helped us with booking bus tickets back to HCMC and paid everything in advance. You can pay by visa card for a small fee, also extremely convenient as there are no ATMs around. If you wanna drive around on yourself, there are free bikes and scooters for rent. So after all, a fantastic choice if you plan to step back from the hassle in the city and enjoy a calm time in the jungle.

Positive: This is such a lovely place to stay. Set amongst coconut farms near the Mekong River, Phuc Sinh is run by a lovely, kind family offering very warm hospitality. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and it is lovely to lie in the hammocks in the garden. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. There are bikes and scooters for some independent exploring and the boat trip offered is a great way to see the Mekong. The family will help with onwards bus tickets and taxis to the bus station. Staying at Phuc Sinh was a great introduction to the delta and is highly recommended.
