Negative: Too far from anything.. crazy taxi costs, landry and trying hard carnivorous restaurant to ba avoided by vegans and vegetarians with pictures of animals on the menu..

Positive: Rooms were nice, the views were incredible!!! So cool to live in the jungle and see so much nature from the windows (and the outdoor tub, though we didn't use ours because of all the mosquitos). The staff was really kind, they always greeted us with a smile!

Negative: Breakfast was good but felt repetitive / not enough variety for several mornings in a row. The property is in the jungle so there are lots of mosquitos (and cicadas, though we didn't mind those as much as it's like white noise and they don't bite!) -- but the staff provided us with bug lotion which was very kind! It's not walkable to much but we had a car which made it easier to get elsewhere! And FYI the rooms are a bit of a walk from the hotel lobby / parking lot, but the staff are happy to help with bags!

Summary: Amazing stay in the jungle!

Positive: The hotel room i had faces the mountain and the river. Room is huge with a big balcony like extension where you can relax and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. The owners are helpful and friendly. Especially Mon, who goes the extra mile to explain and suggest places that we could visit.

Positive: The spectacular view. The bath shower with the same view which is very private unless somebody is kayaking down the river!!!! The comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The beautiful flora and fauna all around the property. (Some recent work means that there is an area near the river that has to grow back. The most lovely and welcoming hosts.

Positive: I rarely give 10/10 ratings but felt like this was a special place to give one to. The mountain/river/jungle views from the room balcony alone make this a place you must stay. We had a jacuzzi bath tub on our balcony and were mesmerised by the breathtaking scenes outside. The staff at this hotel are incredible and give a real personal feel to your time there. The location is a little isolated from anywhere, however, this was not an issue for us as Mon and the team at the hotel are able to arrange any day activities/taxis etc out for you. There is a river down below which you can take a dip in. Rooms are very spacious with good air con. Great value for money and a place definitely worth staying for the experience.

Negative: Only criticism I would have is that the portion sizes for the meals at dinner time are very small.

Summary: A booking we will never forget. Amazing.

Positive: The staff were the highlight of our stay. Extremely nice and accommodating. They adapted to our daily schedule to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Shout out to Mon who was really helpful and tried his best to help us enjoy our stay. The view of the mountain from the room is very nice too.

Negative: The room (King Room with mountain view), hotel grounds and facilities were disappointing. Our room smelled rather bad especially when we arrived and was very basic. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. The whole room wobbled when people walked passed it. The bathroom was bad with toilet paper jammed into the wall vents to stop insects from coming in, the sink wasn't attached to the wall properly. The list goes on. We're usually super easy to please but there is a lot to improve and we've paid less for more comfort elsewhere in Thailand.

Summary: The staff and owners made up for an otherwise disappointing room.
