Positive: The rooms were beautiful and having an onsen on site was wonderful. Staff were very friendly.

Negative: Some of the facilities were closed and the hours of the pool were a lot shorter than what I would expect at a hotel like this.

Negative: It took us an hour to check in. It definitely wasn’t what we thought it would be. The room was beautiful and clean. Staff were lovely, but it needs to be advertised to international travellers as a family type location. Not for couples!!! At all!!!

Negative: 1. The breakfast was over priced as although it was buffet style, one could not possibly eat 3,800 yen's worth (about $38). It was also not really a true Western breakfast so this needs more attention. 2. As the hotel is out in a no where man's place, one was stuck there and forced to eat there and use the tourist sites. The infrequent shuttle service was really off putting as it was not timed properly and we waited between 30 minutes to an hour for another shuttle bus. 3. The waiting for breakfast we were told was over an hour's wait and the waiting room was jammed packed for people to eat breakfast yet when we finally entered the breakfast room there appeared to be several tables - this requires better management as people pay alot of money to stay there and have prompt services. There was no reason to have several tables empty and to have them say "One Hour wait" with screaming children and families amongst single travellers waiting for breakfast. As the place is out in a no where place there was no choice but to eat there. I was really disappointed about that as I did not know there would be absolutely nothing near or even around the hotel. It appeared to be primarily a resort for young families. 4. Limited restaurants and very expensive.
