Positive: Room was quiet and very comfortable. No food provided but I was well aware of that (there was fruit and water provided). Lynne sent me links to information about the event I was attending and gave me good directions to find the property.

Negative: A small kettle and tea making gear would be nice.

Summary: A great stay in a location very convenient for the event I came North to see.Would stay again

Positive: I stayed at Phillips House for two nights when I visited Hardwick Festival. I received a lovely warm welcome and was immediately put at ease, which was wonderful after a long journey and because I was travelling solo. The room and ensuite were perfect for my needs, fruit and water in the room was a thoughtful unexpected touch. I enjoyed my hosts company and would happily stay again.

Negative: I had a comfortable and relaxing stay, there wasn't anything not to my liking.

Summary: Lovely quiet comfortable room and ensuite, in a welcoming and relaxed home.
