Positive: Really a wonderful hotel highly recommend. Ended up extending our stay by one night. Absolutely gorgeous spa. Really nature fused and luxurious with a gorgeous heated pool and sauna room facing the mountains. Restaurant was excellent - great service and taste. The bathroom and balcony to our room was lovely modern and peaceful. There is a sort of spa scent in the corridor. The only small note is about the rooms. The bed was great and everything was clean and warm but there were a few marks on the walls which meant upkeep could be slightly better. Just small little fixes! But truly this should be a 5 star hotel. Lovely attentive staff. Also the breakfast is great and better than some prestigious five star hotels we have stayed at.

Negative: the sink was clogged, the water drained very slowly. there were a few cobwebs near the windows in the restaurant

Positive: Staff was generally friendly and professional, as you would expect in this category. Rooms were super clean and the spa quite spacious. Breakfast Buffet offered a good selection of high quality products.

Negative: There is not enough room in the spa lounge area during peak hours (basically all afternoon) because people are allowed to reserve their lounge chairs all day, even if they are away for treatment/in the spa. Also, the Aroma Restaurant was a big disappointment: Chaotic service (wrong plates brought to wrong tables, exruciating long waiting times to be attended/having to wave at waiters to get attention, food reaching our table luke warm) and really disappointing food/taste. We cancelled our remaining dinner reservations and ate more tasty food with more personal service anywhere else in Bergamo. Also, no nespresso/coffee options in the room and not even a toothbrush set (or glass to put your own tootbrush in!) - unheard of in this price category in my experience & unfortunately all these points will prevent us from returning to Piajo Resort - there are just too many other very good travel options for the money in this time and age.
