Summary: We had a very odd experience at this hotel. The place was clean and tidy, but the atmosphere was cold and lacking any sense of hospitality. After a rough travel day, even a little warmth or excitement from the staff would have made a difference, but it just wasn’t there. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, which is unusual for a hotel that claims four stars. We were also charged an extra 25 euros for an “additional person,” despite booking a double room clearly meant for two (we’re a married couple). Overall, the hotel looks fine on the surface, but the service left us feeling unwelcome. We won’t be returning.

Summary: The Hotel is beautifully appointed with lovely architecture, wall murals and elegant decor. The service was outstanding and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the area with excellent parking right outside the hotel. The breakfast was so delicious with incredible selection of homemade cakes and marmalades and fresh cheeses and prosciutto and mortadella.

Summary: The staff was incredible - helped us with our travel plans, and even opened the restaurant early to ensure that we had enough time to eat and make it to the opera on time. The food was delicious, and the server incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
