Positive: Food and wines were delicious. Good menu. Room was cosy. The fires in the guest lounge with the wine tasting created the perfect winter afternoon atmosphere.

Negative: Unfortunately didn’t experience the beautiful dining room as it was set-up for a meeting.

Summary: The perfect base to explore the Armidale area. Will stay for 2 nights next time.

Positive: The place looked amazing and was clean and tidy and staff friendly. The food served was delicious especially the breakfast which was included in the price. I liked the large fireplace in the lounge room near the kitchen where it was great to sit in the evening.

Negative: The small electric heater in the room was wholly inadequate; consequently, the room was quite cold and therefore uncomfortable during the evening. On one of the nights my partner and I had to actually climb into bed early which thankfully had an electric blanket just to stay warm. It's possible that if we had let staff know they may have been able to let us have another heater, but it was just one of those things that happens, and we didn't bother to take it any further.
