Positive: Plenty of Room for 6 People and our dog. The house was fully equipped with electronics and appliances which made the stay much nicer. The house was decorated nicely, but not overdone. The fenced in yard for our dog was greatly appreciated.

Negative: The location and amount of additional linens and pillows was not clear and we had to search for what was there. The outdoor lighting needs to be updated (some lights worked and some did not). The landscaping needs to be cut back (ie. the house number was overgrown by weeds and hard to see when arriving). No outdoor furniture on the downstairs patio. I would have liked to sit down while my dog was outside.

Summary: This property had everything we needed for a great weekend to Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

Negative: The house was spacious and pretty. We appreciated the “extras” like the basket of snacks & multiple options of coffee & tea. We loved that each shower had shampoo, conditioner & body wash. When we arrived and were ready to enter the house, the front door was unlocked, so we felt unsafe until we were able to check inside for intruders. On the top floor, there was an overwhelming smell of smoke. This was only the top floor and not the bottom. The property listing on booking.com says this house was smoke-free, but that doesn't seem to be the case. With the top floor being our main area during our stay, having to smell this was not enjoyable. The house was clean, except for places under furniture, etc. There are a couple of carpet stains at the bottom of the stairs. In the toilet upstairs, in the laundry room, I had to re-adjust the flush lever after flushing because it would continue to run until the lever was moved back up. My biggest issue is that I tried to reach out to the guest services contact and did not hear back from her. I sent her 2 different emails. The first one was on 8-6-24 at 2:34 pm, and the other was on 8-10-24 at 4:45 pm. I also tried to call her 2 different times, and I got zero response. I left messages both times when I called. I also sent an email to evolve for assistance on 8-10-24 at 4:41 pm (right before I sent the guest services contact person the second email) because I had yet to hear back from the guest contact, and I have not received a response from that email either. However, evolve did respond to my first two emails promptly, and I do appreciate that.

Positive: Everything! Mostly the decks❤️And the donkey, and horses, nature.

Negative: Because I still have old fashion cable TV, I was unable to watch TV in the living room. Roku This! I gave up because that was enough stress with modern society.

Summary: Paradise❤️A HOT TUB would have been icing on the cake.

Positive: Funny to see and hear a donkey with our morning coffee on the back porch. The place was clean and the separate unit downstairs was perfect for our son. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Negative: Manager didn’t answer her phone. Owner did though and handled the questions and concerns.
