Welcome to Meadow Lark, a mid-century modern home that was thoughtfully constructed in the ’70s by renowned Northern California architect, Robert Peterson. The home boasts dramatic ceilings, a 1-minute walk to the beach, and breathtaking ocean views- making it a clear choice for those who want to enjoy Sea Ranch in style. And don’t forget your favorite furry friend, dogs are welcome!
When entering, it’s hard to stay put in the home and not venture straight to the bluffs, and we don’t blame you! An outdoor seating area with BBQ on the back patio prompts instant relaxation and is a prime space for dining al fresco!
Inside, the open living space offers ample seating and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. The dramatic plank ceilings are mesmerizing to look at; especially when you have an ocean view in the distance. The room supports an open-concept design so there’s an organic flow throughout the main floor. There is a Smart TV with streaming only, where you can log into your own accounts. A Sonos stereo system is available for streaming on your accounts also. For more entertainment, please enjoys the books, and board games.
The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up signature dishes from home and additional kitchen appliances such as a blender and coffee maker are available for your convenience. Steps away, enjoy meals together at the dining table for 6.
And don’t forget to wind down at the end of the day with a soak in the private hot tub off of the front patio!
The home sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably between 2 private bedrooms and a loft. Each space is furnished with luxe linens to ensure everyone has a restful stay.
Bedroom #1 is outfitted with a Queen bed, and en-suite. The en-suite offers a shower/tub combo.
Bedroom #2 highlights a Twin daybed and Twin trundle.
An upstairs loft is configured with a Full sofa sleeper, Twin daybed, TV, and bathroom.
There are two full bathrooms in this home that are stocked to serve guests. One has a stand-up shower and the other features a shower/tub combo.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• There is an active surveillance camera on-site.
• Your check-in packet will include 2 parking passes. RVs and street parking are NOT permitted.
• High-speed WiFi can be accessed to accommodate students and teleworkers!
• The home is stocked with 4 beach chairs and beach towels for guest use. Feel free to bring them down to the beach and soak in the stunning weather!
• A crib and highchair are available for guest use.
• Firewood will be provided.
• Dog bowls, and a dog bed will also be available for use. Up to two pets are allowed to reside during your stay. The pets may only weigh up to 50lbs combined. An additional pet fee will be applied after booking is complete.

Summary: Beautiful place, lovely decor, comfy bedding.Easy access to property and parking.Very spacious. We enjoyed bbq and hot tub outdoor areas! There are also lots of trail nearby.Keep in mind the WiFi did not work the entire stay. We took that time to decompress, but still would have been nice to have so we could research nearby amenities.This is remote place - there will be bugs, in the winter it was not bad.The place was clean with a couple of detail exceptions: Under the bathroom sink was very dusty and had some bugs. Trundle bed sheet (bottom mattress) had pet hair. Other than that: kitchen was super clean, showers, etc as well.Well equipped kitchen.Overall a very lovely stay!

Summary: Meadowlark was an absolute joy for our family of four- cozy cabin, full of daylight yet very private with unique architecture and very good sense of design throughout. We appreciated the sense of craft and artistic touches that per Rated the space. There was good energy vibration and we felt very much at home. We highly recommend it to the discerning crowd and would stay here again!

Summary: The A-frame concept house was pretty and well-appointed, if not completely practical. The Sea Ranch setting is quiet, peaceful, and so lovely. Very dark at night... I saw the Milky Way just standing in the driveway! The stairway to the beach within walking distance was permanently closed. We drove to another beach which was closed for trail maintenance. The door code for the front door was very glitchy... we got in the first time and then just left a side door unlocked. Overall, a lovely stay.

Summary: Great house. Beautiful location. A few issues with the combination lock but once we resolved that we had no issues. Wonderful record collection we enjoyed the whole weekend. Beds were comfortable. We used the fireplace every night. We’ll be back.

Summary: My husband, toddler son, dog and I really enjoyed our stay. We were sad to leave and go back to reality. The house was clean and gorgeous both inside and outside. It was well stocked and had the most beautiful dinnerware. It had an exceptional array of books, tea sets and records. All were put to good use. The house is right next to a trail head, not far from a gorgeous beach where we spent a good deal of time. We saw gray foxes, dolphins, an array of birds, and dozens of deer. My only gripe (and we’re getting nit picky here) is that I wish there were screens on the doors, especially the bedrooms. Airflow was minimal and the rooms got really hot. Some screens would allow us to open up at night without allowing wildlife inside. There are also two cameras, one by the front door and one by the back. I don’t like it, but I get it. We just turned them upwards when going into the Jacuzzi. This is an amazing property, a perfect house. We hope to stay there again soon.
