Positive: Hosts were great at communicating The cottage was warm The beds were comfortable Towels and tea towels were available along with washing up liquid and cloths Hosts left a bottle of cava for us There was WiFi available

Negative: The only thing that could have been better was a proper shower. I don’t think the hosts could do much about that because of ceiling height and layout of the cottage . Because the cottage is remote we couldn’t get a taxi to Buffey Priory where we were attending a wedding , meaning one of us had to drive. I’m not sure if there is anything that could be done about this - perhaps we needed to book a taxi well in advance .

Summary: It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay - thank you.

Positive: The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding, we had everything we needed in a very comfortable place. The decor and cleanliness was up to the highest standards, with the location perfect for our requirements. It is without doubt that I would thoroughly recommend Period Cottage to anyone wishing to stay in that part of the country. Abi communicated very well with me leading up to our stay and we would most certainly book to stay again in the future. Many thanks Abi for everything!

Negative: Shortage of basic kitchen equipment (chopping boards; knives; functioning freezer; saucepan lids...). Also needs shower curtain and some kind of drying facilities.
