Summary: A truly amazing experience in a beautifully maintained vintage hotel. The entire staff were very accommodating. Great service and drinks in the Orient Bar as well.

Summary: The drapes in the Hemingway room need cleaning. Breakfast was good but the coffee was not hot. The staff was polite. Great location. I recommend the hotel.

Summary: Staying at The Pera Palace is an experience in and of itself...a level of pride and service that is unforgettable.. I would travel 6 thousand miles just to stay there...and you have the beautiful city of Istanbul all around you. I would recommend this wonderful and historic hotel to everyone! I hope to return and stay there again.

Summary: The hotel was in a great, central location. And is a very cool, old building with lots of history. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms are definitely over-priced for what you get (although that may be Istanbul more generally). Staff could have been more attentive/friendly.

Summary: Family stay, 3 people in 2 side-by-side rooms with my adult son. Due to my oversight, I left cash outside the safe, counted and noted on paper wrapped with it. Returning around 6 PM, I noticed a discrepancy. I reported it to reception. A meeting with manager/security was held. They said they would check cameras and call our room. Going back up, we found a person in front of our door with an electronic device, appearing to attempt to open it. Seeing us, he left immediately. We returned to reception and reported this 2nd incident to the same staff. Surprised, they asked for a description and promised an update on incident 1 (cash) and incident 2 (person). After ∼20 min, they called about incident 1 only: only cleaning/minibar entered during our absence, and my son from the next room was only in our room with us. Nothing about incident 2 After ∼1 hour, they called about incident 2, saying it was routine maintenance, without our request and at night, with no issue found. The delay and initial surprise caused us doubt and insecurity. The hotel regretted but said it could not take responsibility. This is our personal perception as guests, with no intent to accuse.
