Positive: Amazing location right on the lagoon (means you had to walk a bit to get food but that’s fine) and wonderful hosts - so friendly and helpful. We had a blissful few days by the water at Pepo’s and would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to do the same.

Negative: Just a bit out of the way, which is fine if you’re prepared! Otherwise incredible stay and wonderful people.

Positive: Very relaxed and beautiful place 10 minute drive from Bacalar. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful which made the stay that much more special. Kayaks and stand up paddle boards can be used for free so they were great to take out. Breakfast was lovely as well! Couldn’t recommend more!

Negative: It is a 10 minute or so walk into Xul-Ha which has no restaurants and a few shops to buy food. Therefore if you want to go out and explore probably worth having a car

Positive: Lovely cabins, great staff, lovely lake settings, delicious breakfast, and they offered a paid service to drive us to the Belize border for a very reasonable price.

Negative: There aren't many shops nearby and sometimes the neighbors played loud music, but that didn't really impact our stay.
