Positive: Location perfect for the day trips we had planned. All of the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The staff are well trained too which was good to see. The bar area was fairly lively in the evening and it was great to see the hotel busy out of season.

Negative: Creaking floorboards in the room above were a real nuisance and disturbed our sleep most nights. The pillows in the bed weren’t the best which resulted in me buying some from M&S!

Positive: Hotel was ok but in need of updating as it looks very tired. Interior looks the same as when I use to go there in the 70’s for meals and disco.

Negative: Not saying I disliked it , just in need of updating and carpet in the restaurant has seen better days
