Positive: The location , the rooms and ensuites very spacious , The size of the lodge is very spacious ,all mod cons ,big fridge , kitchen well equipped There are walking trails at the end of the location at the top by the cottage ,great views of the area from the walking trails. The hotub was big fit 6 people comfortably, and the jets were powerful. Big large TV . The lodge was warm airy and had nice views of the mountains . The WiFi worked well anywhere from 25-45 meg download speed

Negative: The TV remotes were pretty unresponsive, it took ages to change TV channels .

Positive: Amazing views,peaceful,nature,lakes,jacuzzi,spacious accommodation perfect for big family

Negative: If you want luxury fittings and spotlessly clean, this will not be ideal.Sadly, these beautiful lodges need serious attention and a big refurb inside and out.We had 4 bathrooms in ours that were in a bad way, and some discusting stains on carpet that were almost certainly body fluids right next to bathroom door, made me heave.kitchen fairly well equipped and jacuzzi made the week for us all.If you want to be in a beautiful peaceful environment this is perfect its all about the outdoors with this holiday!! Well worth the money but sadly won't be going back

Positive: Spacious, clean and warm cottage in lovely location near to Llangollen with amazing hot tub! Lovely to have a washing machine in the property.

Negative: No internet for the whole holiday! No access to the outdoor pool as the roof had been damaged in the storm weeks before our visit. No microwave in the kitchen. All these were advertised as available when we booked and we weren’t told they would not be available before we arrived. The kids were so disappointed about the pool. Lack of Internet was really difficult as we had to take turns in using our phone data to hotspot the kids’ appliances and the tv.

Positive: We loved it here, Absolutely beautiful location on the horseshoe pass near Llangollen, close to the town and lots of great walks. We stayed as a last minuite booking visiting family near by, but it felt like a proper secluded get away which was an absolute bonus, surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. The hot tub was excellent as was the accomodation. The cabins are stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable. Great kitchen facilities and lovely views accross the site. Lots of wildlife to see. The staff were kind and really helpful and sorted our boiler issue so quuckly. Would 100% stay again, really really lovely experience.

Negative: The only issue we encountered was our boiler broke (mid shower) whilst we were there, but these things happen and the staff were great and let us shower in another empty cabin, and sorted the issue the same day whilst we were out so we could come back to a lovely warm cabin with hot water. If i were to be really picky the place needed abit of tlc and maintenence few broken bits here and there around the site and an overflowing bin area by reception. But non of this took away from our stay and would love to come back again. Great value for money, great staff, perfect location, lovely accomodation.

Positive: Beautiful location, the lodge was perfect for a weekend away with the girls - open plan design which was great for conversation. Hot tub was brilliantly clean. Beds were comfy and showers powerful.

Negative: I agree with previous reviews in that the lodge was a bit "tired" although we didn't need the log burner because it was mild, it was a shame it was out of order. The oven needs some attention, it doesn't heat well at all, (it took 2hrs to cook a pizza!), and was very smokey, which made me think it needs a bit of a clean. Although we were happy as a group of friends with the lodge, I may have been disappointed if it was a romantic weekend away.

Summary: Overall a great stay, but some repairs needed.
