Positive: Our stay at Penthouse Con Vista was absolutely amazing! The apartment is spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with nice views of the mountains and the town. Everything was perfectly clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Bernina Express station, restaurants, and the town center. The hosts were very kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended.

Positive: The information from the host was excellent. The property location is perfect in the old town. The next door restaurant is highly recommended. The facilities were all great and the outdoor veranda was a nice addition. Overall, this will be our first pick when next we visit the area.

Negative: absolutely nothing.

Positive: The instructions for key collection and check-in were clearly and timely communicated.

Negative: This 3-bedroom apartment on its own is good but there are mis-sold elements. Our party of four arrived at the apartment to find one of the 3 double bedrooms locked. On reaching out to the host that we had booked a 3-bedroom apartment for 4 people, his response in a nutshell was that we were 4 persons and therefore only four sleeping spaces were available (i.e. one double bed per room); so he will not open the third bedroom. as opening a third bedroom in the apartment would mean 6 sleeping spaces are available to us. He went on to say that should we require the opening of the third bedroom there will be a supplementary charge. You can imagine my utter shock of renting an entire apartment and discovering on arrival that only a portion of the apartment is available for our use. It is an utter joke, as I probed this point further, the host claimed his english wasn't very good (how convenient). The whole thing was comical, except it wasn’t. I was being hoodwinked at 11pm with no recourse to alternative options. I made the choice to choose my battles carefully and decided to adopt a pen is mightier than the sword strategy. I am not saying the apartment’s aesthetic wasn't smart, but I am saying that the welcome and enforced sleeping arrangement was a shamble which left exhausted travellers feeling rather cheated, dumbfounded and vulnerable; thus souring the experience. I just cannot believe this kind of thing happens at this price point (just to squeeze more money out of people!)

Positive: Lovely apartment located close to the train station, and shops, bars, restaurants. Nice interior, with lovely views from the balcony. The kitchen and bathroom had all the basic essentials a traveller would need Lovely surprise and a nice touch to find bottles of water and soft drinks in the fridge.

Negative: False advertisement of this property on Booking.com. I was asked by the owner to give a 10/10 review. This is my honest and faithful review. We booked this 3 bedroom apartment for my husband and I, and our 2 adult children (male & female) as we required 3 bedrooms. I was very unhappy that the 3rd bedroom was locked on our arrival. Having contacted the owner, I was told there was a €20 fee to use the 3rd bedroom, to pay for the linen. We were flabbergasted that the owner could be so petty and miserable, conning us and trying to take more money from us. Having expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told the bathroom key would open the 3rd bedroom. Message the owner, look after your guests and don't try to swindle them. I made you aware when booking your apartment that we were travelling with our grown up children. The mattresses look esthetically pleasing but are of very poor quality. I felt like I was sinking into a hole, as did my daughter. There are no mirrors in the bedrooms. This could easily be rectifed.

Positive: Everything! Spotless clean! Very cozy and super stylish. Fast check in, good directions how to reach, welcoming gifts, warm atmosphere (we were in December), etc. Would like to spend more time just sitting and watching the roofs. Outdoor deck is fabulous for a drink.Highly recommended! Worth Instagram photoshoot!
