Positive: We needed somewhere to stay to be close to my father while he was dying. The staff could not have been more supportive & really went the extra mile to make that horrible time as comfortable & easy as possible. We could see that the staff are like a family & treated us the same way, I can't speak more highly of them & I'll never forget it. Thank you all.

Positive: Loved the layout of the apartment. Beds comfortable, bathroom well heated and products supplied. Tea and coffee and wine left for us. Kitchen was very well equipped although a couple more mugs would have been nice, just 2 when there was four of us staying..

Negative: Could have done with instruction manuals for the Smart TV and the wall heaters. We spent half an hour and a visit to google to work out the TV and even then couldn't change channels without switching it off. As for the heaters, the lounge heater worked but neither bedroom did. We had power to them but no heat. A manual would definitely have helped, as we thought they were on a timer but they didn't heat up. We resolved the cold bedrooms by leaving the doors open from the bathrooms to heat the apartment, another small issue, the coat hooks on back of doors fell off with the weight of a light weight coat. The handle on the front door had been broken off and left inside, no issue as the key was required to open the door.

Summary: Lovely apartment just a couple of tweeks needed.

Positive: Was a spacious layout for 3 people, and felt quite homely. Suited our needs perfectly for doing wedding organisation. When talking to staff in Windmill they were very helpful and friendly. Also good to have a restaurant downstairs for some meals when don't need to cook.

Negative: Heating is locked off and needs adjusting as the season changes. External steps were missing a light (bulb to be replaced).

Summary: Was a superb base for prepping a local wedding - lots of space with helpful backup.

Positive: Key safe was easy to find and code worked. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with everything you needed for a week’s stay.

Negative: The entrance was very dirty with cigarette buts thrown on the floor and up the stairs, the whole entrance needed a good jet wash as very dirty from foot fare and people smoking! The front balcony was not useable as seats were dirty and the area had not been cleaned The outside space at the back of property needed to be cleaned and tidied, lot’s of broken fence and surrounding area needed to be tidier. Bathroom radiators don’t work. Heating took us the whole evening to work out how to turn on as no instructions, we did ask the contact in the pub, but he didn’t know. Bath was not clean and i had to clean before i used it. Lot’s of things around the apartment needed attention and fixing.

Summary: Apartment could be so much better, starting with the entrance. It’s a great space, just needs TLC!

Negative: Shame you can't get easy access to the sea on foot. No hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel etc. The two single beds are quite small

Positive: We really liked the large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with plenty of seating. Both bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. Really convenient to have an en-suite as well as family bathroom. Plenty of parking and lovely views from the front. Peaceful with birdsong at the back terrace. The meals were very good.

Negative: The balcony areas need some attention but we were still able to use them and it wouldn’t deter us from staying again
