Positive: We have spent a few wonderful days in Slănic Prahova two weeks ago. Pensiunea Deceneu offers beautifully designed accommodations, with nice clean rooms, and a very pleasant fenced-in yard. The food was very tasty, prepared on site from fresh locally sourced ingredients, and we were impressed by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful with every request we had. The location is very close to everything we wanted to visit in Slanic. The closed-in private yard is perfect having an outdoor picnic, or just relaxing. Safe parking is also available.

Positive: We had the pleasure of spending 3 days in Slănic Prahova at Pensiunea Deceneu in mid-May. I booked our stay on Booking.com, and I was a bit hesitant because I've read a few negative reviews on Google, but after also reading the positive reviews, I've decided to give it a chance. Most of the negative reviews complained about poor lodging conditions and food, and even about the bad attitude of the owner. But, after my stay there, I can only say that I have found ABSOLUTELY no valid reasons for such complaints. For those looking for the utmost luxury accommodations and MICHELIN Star food presentations, this is NOT the place for you! HOWEVER, if you are looking for a place with reasonable rates, that offers a beautifully designed rustic environment, with clean rooms, excellent tasty food, and a warm welcoming by the friendly owners, then Pensiunea Deceneu is an excellent choice!!! The location is very conveniently close to all the local attractions (the salt mine, salt lakes/baths, etc). The closed-in private yard is perfect for families with children, and I've noticed they even allow pets
