Positive: Amazing countryside location with fabulous views. House was warm( as was our welcome). Food in the charmingly traditional looking restaurant was fantastic, lots of choice. Breakfast was great. Room was basic, but very warm and comfortable. Value for money. Lovely big old traditional looking house. Hosts were attentive and happy.

Positive: A small family owned hotel close to the tourist attractions of the area (Teplice, stone formations, old castles, observation towers, Teplice spas). Very good accessibility from the D8 highway and excellent Czech traditional cuisine (if you’re not vegetarian, definitely go for goulash soup!).

Negative: A thick fog surrounded the place for quite some time (we visited in mid November) and made driving complicated, but the owners can’t do anything about it.

Positive: Great location with lovely views. Freshly prepared and tasty food served from the bar and during breakfast. Chatty staff that was able to communicate in many languages.

Negative: Very basic accommodation, good enough for a one night stay. Coffee/tea facilities would be a great addition. The bathroom was in need of redecorating.
