Positive: The view of the islands in the caldera from Pension Ohno is superb!

Negative: That I couldn't stay longer than 6 days. Walking in powder snow along the lake and sculpture park was wonderful. Museums and tourist centers closed on certain days in Toya not so great.Some small restaurants offer venison. Oishi desu.

Positive: Breakfast and dinners were delicious. Beautiful dining room with surrounding windows to take in the lake view. Location is great as we like less traffic. A little distance from central area but also closer to the ropeway which was amazing view.

Negative: There is nothing I didn’t like.

Positive: The property is an old fashioned cottage style place, with small room and the property shows its age. However it’s clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nicely prepared and served.

Negative: The property is about 25 minutes walk to the center of the lake where fireworks and boating activities are held. There is no taxi service in the area. If traveling without a car, the only way to go to watch the fireworks at night is by footis.
