Positive: What an absolute gem of a place! Less than 10 minutes from the A3 but super quiet and with the comfy beds, we had an excellent night’s sleep - which was good as we had a long journey the following day. The owners are lovely and really friendly. The breakfast was delicious. This is a truly fabulous guest house which is also great value for money. Even though we just stayed for the night, there are loads of local walks and we could have stayed longer. Top tip - if you arrive hungry you can walk through the fields to the village (or go by car). It’s about 20 minutes walk. We ate at the 2nd doner kebab shop - don’t be put off, super friendly staff and the felafal wrap was super fresh and delicious and HUGE!!!

Summary: Fabulous great value stay - minutes from A3 / 5 hours from Calais. Could stay longer
