Positive: It is right next to Untersberg so the view from the balcony is so beautiful. It was a very clean and comfy place to stay. The bathroom is very modern, and the room was very very comfortable. There is an entry room (with closet-it basically doubles as a dressing room) that shuts off from the bath and main room, making things seem just a little more like home. The hosts themselves are so charming and chatted with me every day at breakfast. Coffee and breakfast were ample. There was good parking onsite. Bergfried was very conveniently placed for seeing Salzburg.

Negative: Unfortunately the Untersbergsbahn was down for maintenence, but that was out of their control. It is a little far from places to eat, but I had a car so no problem. Salzburg is very walkable, even smaller towns like Grödig, so even if I hadn't had a car the Main Street wasn't far and it's easy to get a bus.
