Summary: Bit outdated but okay for one night. There was only bar food on Sunday evening, no full menu so bear that in mind when staying. Unfortunately, the "chili nachos" were served without any ground beef. So essentially, tortilla chips topped with salsa and cheese. The full English breakfast and the eggs benedict were really good. There's a huge parking lot around the hotel, which was empty when we arrived. Staff was friendly, approachable and helpful.

Summary: The location is amazing. It feels like it could go out of business any time soon. No one at the bar and when you ring the bell no one comes. We had to fetch the receptionist. It was quicker to walk to the pub in the nearby village. We didn't risk eating there as we couldn't even get a drink. No information when checking in about eating there etc. It's a shame because the location was perfect

Summary: Curb appeal not great. Good double spacious room, clean and comfortable. View ok but outside needed a tidy up. Bar ok but no outside space unless you wanted to sit in the car park. Suited our needs and breakfast excellent

Summary: Very nice staff clean rooms some rooms are new work is being carried out slowly on the hotel nice quiet area with lovely views and great value for money the food is basic and nice and fresh would stay again no problem👍

Summary: Third stay at Penine Manor. The staff are wonderful although extra bar staff on an event weekend would be a good idea. The only bugbear with this hotel is the Wi-Fi which is particularly weak.

Summary: The hotel was lovely and clean very old worldy set in a beautiful location They even have their own Heli pad A lovely little walk across the road through a wood and a bench to sit on to admire the beautiful views For us it was too way out and not practical
