Positive: Food was excellent, prices for food was comparable to most pub restaurants. Most staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Shower and bathroom very good. Views amazing. Friendly horses. Free WiFi. Free parking and lots spaces.

Negative: WiFi didn't work in rooms only main areas. Would have liked a real ale or ipa on tap. Drinks quite expensive. Food fine for a short stay but would need more choice if staying for more than a few days. Greeting on arrival not the warmest.

Positive: Very good location to explore the area and enjoy the scenery with a nice pub just five minutes walk in the local village. The evening meal was fine with a good choice on the menu and the bar has a fairly good selection of drinks.

Negative: The bedroom radiator did not seem to be working which made it a little chilly at night although an extra blanket made it manageable. The bathroom window would not fully close either.

Summary: Very convenient and inexpensive place to stay to explore what is a beautiful area and landscape.
