Positive: Beautiful building with an interesting historical background located in a nice area. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Nice garden grounds to walk around and thought the peacocks were a cute touch.

Negative: Cocktail prices were steep. Uncomfortable pillows - would prefer a firm option

Positive: Love the grounds, we’ve been before and like it. We especially love the peacocks but I think it was mating season lol they were very loud this time:

Negative: The swimming pool being freezing it was a massive disappointment and the previous time the steam room was out of order. People come there especially for the spa so this is a huge disappointment, and we were surprised that no compensation was offered!

Summary: 2nd time we’ve stayed. Lovely but this time the swimming pool was freezing !

Positive: Lovely hotel. Food was really good. Room was also really nice. Disappointed with the pool not being heated as there was a problem. I did originally search for a hotel with pool facilities.

Negative: Never had a reply from email from spa that I mailed specifically.

Positive: The spa and hotel grounds and decor

Negative: Unfortunately the swimming pool was cold as boiler broken and that’s what I chose for as I swim a lot. ( not their fault but could of be advised ) in case we needed to change hotels
